Description:
The House
A recently renovated family villa superbly located at the end of its own driveway and overlooking the valley and village of Les Plans and Soulages. The villa is set on a terraced hillside amidst four hectares of semi-wild gardens, vineyards and woodland and is bordered by a small stream. The house faces southwest and commands stunning views in three directions, yet only a short walk from the village. Separate sunny terraces extend on the east and all the way along the west side of the house and the south terrace leads onto the swimming pool and its surrounds.
The Area
A five minute drive reaches the historic town of Lodève with its XIII century cathedral, medieval bridges and cultural centres. The town hosts a lively and colourful Saturday street market at which local traders sell food, clothes and crafts; there is also a variety of restaurants serving local dishes. The land around Lodève is dominated by vine terraces and most vineyards and cooperatives welcome visitors and offer the opportunity to learn about the wine-making process and to taste wine, and buy the results.
In the surrounding area there are numerous places of interest including Neolithic sites, caves, gorges and churches.
Popular activities include walking on the “grand randonnèes”, cycling and pony trekking. Sailing, canoeing and windsurfing are also available – (lac du Salagou) and the Mediterranean coast is only a thirty-five minute drive away.

Sous-Sol
The main entrance to the house is through the sous-sol which is used as a games room equipped with international size table tennis and a variety of other games. A washing machine and separate sink and drainage unit are also in the sous-sol. From here you can enter the garage under the house which provides ample parking space for three cars.
Outdoors
The south terrace from the kitchen and sitting room leads to a large sunbathing area with loungers and beautiful floodlit pool (10 x 5 m) with Roman steps leading into the water.
